To avoid contamination, all athletes are advised to only use supplements that are 3rd party tested by an entity like NSF for Sport, Informed Sport, or BSCG.

The program employs a custom-built athlete portal for athletes to enter and update whereabouts and adhere to random testing protocols.

Leadership spotlight

Jake Hurwitz, President of GSAD

Global Sport Anti-Doping (GSAD) is a sports administrative consulting service for anti-doping compliance based in Las Vegas, Nevada and led by its president, Jake Hurwitz. Formerly part of Ultimate Fighting Championship's anti-doping program, widely considered one of the top and most comprehensive in professional sports, Jake founded Global Sport Anti-Doping in 2025 to bring the same world-class standard to additional sports leagues and individuals. In his professional career, he has worked with a wide array of athletes including amateurs, MMA competitors, champions, and Olympians. Jake holds a 2nd-degree black belt in Shotokan karate and brings both prior experience and firsthand understanding of the demands and livelihoods of advanced combat sports athletes and athletes at large.
